Bibó Porto Illustration, from Café Piolho
The stories of "Café Piolho" are many and intersect with the stories of the city of Porto, and the challenge was to illustrate the environment that is lived and felt in this emblematic space.
The tablecloth was the first piece to receive the illustration, a piece that, once offering a puzzle, now tells, in a humorous way, the story of this centuries-old cafe.
From university students, to the Leões (statues in the Praça dos Leões which is right next door), to the traditional market seller at the Bulhão market, to the grandfather who comes to show his grandson around Porto, never forgetting the most recent wave of tourists, these are some of the scenes found in this illustration by Cristiana Rodrigues and which came to embody the merchandising of Café Âncora D'Ouro
